Healthy Cooking Classes

If your answer to any of the above is “Yes”, you will enjoy and benefit from the information shared in my hands-on Cooking Classes for the novice and seasoned cook alike. We prepare a different meal each time and everyone is invited to partake in both preparing the food and eating it.

Those who are inexperienced will start out learning the basics. Individuals with more experience can expand their knowledge, try new cuisines, and learn advanced techniques.

Verna’s Healthy Cuisine is a fun event that resembles a dinner party where we prepare and eat the meal while enjoying lively conversation with one another. It’s an opportunity to learn new dishes, make friends, and take home the know-how to make cooking simple and satisfying.

Classes focus on meals and snacks that are easy to prepare. We emphasize vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, fish, low-fat dairy, lean meat and healthy fats. You’ll learn how to save time, cut costs, and savor home cooking that’s not only nutritionally superior, but delicious as well! 

Time:  usually 1 hour from start to finish, meal included!
Cost:  $20.00
